On January 16th 1972, the Dallas Cowboys defeated the Miami Dolphins 24-3 for the franchise’s first Super Bowl victory. Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach completed 12 of 19 passes for 119 yards and two touchdowns and was named Super Bowl MVP.

January 15, 1978: The Dallas Cowboys, behind Harvey Martin, Randy White and their “Doomsday Defense,” dominated the Broncos, 27-10, in Super Bowl XII at New Orleans. It was the first Super Bowl played indoors. Coach Tom Landry evened his Super Bowl record at 2-2.

Morris Claiborne signs a four year contract with a club option for a fifth year worth $16.26 million.
Jason Terry been meeting with Boston, close to closing a 3 year contract with the Celtics.
This would be a great move for the Celtics especially with the word of Ray Allen thinking of going to Miami. The depth is being kept, which has come to be Boston’s game.
